About This Game A girl crashed into a dark forest not knowing where to go, curiosity drives her to open a Pandora’s box that was never meant to be opened. Evie is a short first-person horror narrative that unfolds a mind-boggling event, set in the middle of an eerie forest that was left undiscovered for good reasons. The story starts off by reading diaries left in an abandoned house by a lady named Evie. As a player, you will quickly realize that great tragedies hit her life and uncontrollably fell into a downward spiral of despair.This game was a 3 months project made by Yasuka Taira (me) and Kensuke Hayashi (HS student and a student of mine.)Kensuke helped me write the story (diaries and documents.)I did all the visuals and designing.Shoutout to everyone who's helped us :DDue to my work and Kensuke's school, we were only working on it for 3 hours a day. You get to walk around and read papers. My mom comes in and left without saying anything. The next day she bought me many books.. Out of the ten minutes I played the game, I would say I spent maybe two minutes outside loading screens — and that's me being generous. Had to force a shutdown during the second loading screen I encountered because the scene was taking ridiculously long to load. A real bummer, since from what little I could play the game looks good and I'm quite intrigued by the story, but with how long the loading times are as of now, I find the game unplayable as it is currently.. short, I missed 1-2 pages, I think there was a page that said 16/19 but it's only suppose to go up to 16. No directions for keyboard controls just a xbox controller. When you place items back they sometimes disappear or end up somewhere else. I can pick up things through the walls. many flaws, not a complete game. You should really place this as a free game. The book titles in english but the back of the book in a different language.. Hello,So I was looking forward to streaming this game for my channel but since it not only once but 5 times crashed at the first door I am unforntunaly dropping this game off my roaster. I can run PubG on decent graphics and thats a monster on computers for rendering but simply walking up to a door to a load scene that does 16.432523% (by the way what with the percentage...) crashes and forces me to restart my computer is just rediculous. If this issue gets fixed I will be more then happy to give it another shot but until then I can't recommend this game to anyone.Good luck,Morpheus. Incredibly short but enjoyable little game.This is exactly as if Gone Home and The Park had a baby.It`s a story rich game you unravel through notes you find around.Since the game is way too short anything about the story would be a huge spoil so don`t read reviews. It`s going to be short (around 30 minutes) but the graphics are very pretty, the background music and atmosphere are nice and the story is very enticing. It`s just a shame the developer didn`t make it longer, this story had huge potential.. A competent but poorly-written student-teacher game project that has zero original ideas.. Alebit short this game has quite the novel to it. I don't believe its anything new, but the way it was portrayed is what really got good. Its a short story about a girl who crashes her bike in a tiny forest. You look around and notice a apartment building. you go and follow the pages to discover the story that follows and a little twist ending. for the price eeh but i also know only 2 people made this game with no prior programming knowledge so this is very excellent
